Robert W Dixon III

I'm an attorney practicing throughout West Michigan since 2009, including Grand Haven, Grand Rapids, Grandville, Walker, Wyoming, Kentwood, Hudsonville and Muskegon.

 

An attorney should be an advocate for their client throughout each step the legal process. I aspire to provide my clients with a high degree of service. I offer my clients a calm, reasoned approach to dealing with difficult situations.

I was born and raised in Grand Haven, Michigan and attended Grand Haven Area Public Schools. I graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a minor in Philosophy. I then graduated from the University of Toledo College of Law. While in law school, I extensively studied multiple areas such as 4th search and seizure law, criminal law, family law, employment law issues, workers' compensation and estate planning. 

 

I previously interned for Legal Aid of Western Ohio (LAWO) in Toledo where I specialized in helping the elderly with civil legal issues. I also spent significant time at the Washtenaw County Office of the Public Defender, where I handled hundreds of criminal cases. I later spent time working at a small firm in Metro Detroit, handling a variety of civil cases. I returned to my hometown to build my own practice and assist the people of West Michigan with a variety of legal issues.

 

I currently live in Grand Haven with my wife, daughters and pets.
